8. WHAT YOU SAY IS WHAT YOU GET

By Felix Ngunjiri Gichuri

Tell the Mountain Challenging You to Be Removed and Be Cast into the Sea

Mark 11:23 says “And Jesus told His disciples, “Whoever shall say to this mountain ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea’ and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things he says shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he says.”

The mountains of your life that you need to command them to be uprooted by the roots and cast into the sea include challenges, tests, temptations, evil, misfortunes, dangers, diseases, curses, etc. These are the things you don’t need for your life. Bind them out of your life (Matthew 16:19) as you release with the words of your mouth whatever you need (Matthew 16:19) e.g. good health, deliverance, success, goodness of the Lord, blessings, protection, etc.

The Power of the Spoken Word

Spoken words have powerful effects. Some people pronounce curses and evil upon themselves by talking negative, talking failure or talking impossibilities. They are always talking about their sickness and how they have been struggling with it, forgetting that they are giving the disease ascendancy, power and advertising how powerful and deadly that disease is. You can hear them saying that ”This disease is killing me.”  “I will never get healed because the disease is in the family.” “Misfortunes are always around me.” You shall have made your mouth to speak evil of you. You are limiting yourself, refusing to realize the hidden potentials in you so that you trigger them. You shall have become your worst enemy. Eventually, what you keep confessing will come to pass.

God Wants Us to Be Talking of Possibilities For There Is Nothing Impossible With God

God wants us to talk positive, talk possibilities, talk healing, talk life and talk blessings. “What you declare with your mouth, God will establish it in due time.” (Job 22:27-28) Agree with God about the good things He has said about you. He has said that He made you in His likeness. God wants you to confess His promises with the words of your mouth. There is a miracle in your mouth waiting to be spoken.

Start Confessing Good Things about Yourself

Start confessing all these good things about you with your mouth because they come from God.

“I shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord” (Psalm 118:17)

“God has good plans for me. Plans of welfare and not of evil. To give me a future and a hope” (Jeremiah. 29:11)

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14)

“By the stripes of Jesus, I am healed” (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24)

Greater is He who is in me that he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4)

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs18:21)

Eventually What you Say will Come to Pass

What you say is what you get. The more you say it, the more you believe it. Eventually it will come to pass. God has given you His promises about you. The Bible says that “God’s promises are yea and amen.” (2 Cor. 1:20) And His words are true. “God is not a man that He can lie.” (Numbers 23:19) He will fulfill what you confess with your mouth. Speak what you want and you will get. WARNING: If you speak what you do not want (like giving up in life or speaking of how you see yourself failing), you will get it. God always gives us the desires of our hearts. “For this reason I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believing that you have received it, and you shall have it.” (Mark 11:24)

“Take delight in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4 [HCSB])

Amen.
