36. HOW TO EXPERIENCE BOUNCING BALL LIFE HERE ON EARTH

By Felix Ngunjiri Gichuri

What is Bouncing Ball Life?

I have coined the words bouncing ball life to explain metaphorically how Adam and Eve were living like bouncing balls here on earth before they fell considering that bouncing balls can be lifted into the air by the air inside them and when they are pushed downwards by some force and fall down, they bounce again into the air because the air inside them makes them airborne. It is like they belong to the air. See Footnotes.[1]

Adam and Eve were having very good time having fellowship with God. Adam had the breath of life breathed into him through his nostrils by God Himself. “The LORD God formed the man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living soul.” (Gen 2:7) [NET] God breathed Himself, His Holy Spirit inside the soul of man and man became a living soul that was housing the Spirit of God connected to the spirit of man inside the soul. He then gave the man dominion to rule ruling the animals, birds, fish, water, air and all elements of nature. They were not subject to laws of gravity or death nor limited by distance or time. They had power to visit any part of the Garden of Eden in a moment of time because God gave them dominion and authority to rule over all the elements of nature. God was in them and with them. When God is in you, He can airlift you and take you to wherever you want to go. The Holy Spirit airlifted Philip from Gaza to Azotus in a moment of time to preach Christ. “An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip: “Get up and go south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” (This is the desert road.) So he got up and went. There was an Ethiopian man, a eunuch and high official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of her entire treasury. He had come to worship in Jerusalem and was sitting in his chariot on his way home, reading the prophet Isaiah aloud. The Spirit told Philip, “Go and join that chariot.” When Philip ran up to it, he heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you’re reading?” “How can I,” he said, “unless someone guides me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. Now the Scripture passage he was reading was this: He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb is silent before its shearer, so He does not open His mouth. In His humiliation justice was denied Him. Who will describe His generation? For His life is taken from the earth. The eunuch replied to Philip, “I ask you, who is the prophet saying this about — himself or another person?” So Philip proceeded to tell him the good news about Jesus, beginning from that Scripture. As they were traveling down the road, they came to some water. The eunuch said, “Look, there’s water! What would keep me from being baptized?” [And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart you may.” And he replied, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”] Then he ordered the chariot to stop, and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him any longer. But he went on his way rejoicing. Philip appeared in Azotus, and he was traveling and evangelizing all the towns until he came to Caesarea” (Acts 8:26-40 [HCSB]).

Balloons if Filled With Air Get Lifted into the Air and and Get Airborne

A balloon is a rubber bag which is inflated with air and then sealed at the neck making it rise into the air. The main characteristic or nature of a balloon is to rise, tending upwards like the nature of a man blessed by God who tends upwards. “And if you shall faithfully obey the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God.” (Deut 28:1-2 [ESV2011]) “And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, being careful to do them.”  (Deut 28:13 [ESV2011])

When a ball or balloon is filled with air, the air inside the ball or balloon lifts the ball or balloon upwards, defying gravity. And balloons do not fall down to the ground. They land when the air in them is reduced by design and take off when more air is pumped into them because their life is in the air, tending upwards.

If a balloon falls on the water when pushed downwards, it cannot sink because it is not subject to the laws of gravity. It is unsinkable. The more air is pumped into a balloon, the more it will be airlifted by that same air and pushed into the atmosphere. If a ball that is filled with air hits a stone or wall or ground, it bounces off from there and takes off into the air where it belongs.

Adam and Eve Enjoyed Bouncing Ball Kind of Life in the Garden of Eden

That ‘bouncing ball’ kind of life was the one that was being enjoyed by Adam and Eve when the breath of God was abiding in them: bouncing off obstacles and hurdles, bouncing off diseases, bouncing off the devil, bouncing off challenges, bouncing off curses/pain/death/thorns and thistles. They were unsinkable and untouchable. They were enjoying the best of health and eating the best foods in the world: the best fruits, the best green plants, everything good was available to them by God. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so” (Gen 1:27-30 [KJV]). That was paradise, that is, heaven on earth.  Is that not good news? Another name for good news is the gospel.

Adam and Eve were Chased by God from their Eden Home After they Sinned

But that was before Adam and Eve sinned against God. After they disobeyed God, they were then chased out of their Eden home. “Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.” (Gen 3:23-25 [KJV])

God still has that very good plan of restoring the Kingdom of Heaven to mankind today for whoever believes and then God will breathe His breath of life into the nostrils of whoever repents of their sins so that they are filled with the Holy Spirit of God. And that is why Jesus Christ came to this world to restore to us that life that Adam and Eve lost.

Jesus Came Down From Heaven to Earth to Restore What Man Lost: Dominion or Rulership over Earth

What man needs to be restored to is that which he lost which is dominion. We lost dominion or control over the earth and that is why the primary need and search by man is the dominion that he lost.

God sent Jesus to restore heaven’s government rulership to man over the earth. Jesus came to restore to man what Adam lost. Adam lost the dominion over the earth that God had given him. The words dominion and dominate mean to govern, rule, control or manage. God ordained man to have dominion, control and management over the earth. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” (Gen 1:26-28 [KJV])

When Adam was put in the garden of Eden, he was put in charge of the world and he became the governing influence over the earth. Adams job and responsibility was to bring God’s government on earth so as to influence God’s government rulership. Adam’s job was to bring the kings dominion (kingdom) on earth. When Adam lost the kings dominion over the earth, he lost the governing influence that he possessed over the earth.

The goal of God in sending Jesus was not to bring a religion but to restore what Adam lost: dominion. Isaiah 9:6-7 says that “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” (Isa 9:6-7 [KJV])

The assignment of Jesus was therefore to re-introduce to man the kingdom rulership of God’s government on earth. Adam and Eve lost the Kingdom of heaven but Jesus Christ came to restore to man the Kingdom of heaven which is also referred to as the Kingdom of God which both refer to the same thing: a kingdom or system of government that is ruled by God.

Jesus Christ the King Came to Make us Kingdom Citizens So that Greater Miracles Than He Did Shall we Do

“Now after John was imprisoned, Jesus went into Galilee and proclaimed the gospel of God. He said, “The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the gospel!” (Mark 1:14-15) [NET]) “From that time, Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matt 4:17 [KJV])

Jesus Christ brought to us the gospel of the Kingdom of heaven so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but shall be given everlasting life by being given again the breath of life so as to have dominion over the elements of air, water and nature. “Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things unto her. Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and said unto them, Peace be unto you. And when He had so said, He showed unto them His hands and His side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father has sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said unto them, Receive you the Holy Ghost:” (John 20:18-22 [KJV]) He wants to abide in our hearts so that we can do all He was doing while He was here on earth and more.  Jesus told His disciples that “I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father” (John 14:12 [NET2]). He wants us to be able to walk on water because He is unsinkable. Peter believed Jesus and walked on water, albeit for a short time, when Jesus invited him to walk on water. “And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be you, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” (Matt 14:25-31 [KJV]) Note that Peter walked on water but when he looked around and saw the boisterous sea (instead of looking unto Jesus), he feared greatly and began to sink. Jesus Christ the unsinkable one caught him and the sinking stopped.

When you Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, He will Breathe into You the Holy Spirit

Jesus wants us to be above the circumstances if only we believe in Him that He is the one sent from above to restore to us the Kingdom of heaven that Adam and Eve lost. If you accept Jesus the Son of the Living God into your heart as the Christ and as your Lord and God, He will breathe into your nostrils the breath of life (the Holy Spirit) to enable you to preach the gospel and destroy works of the devil in His name. If you believe in Jesus and in His power to restore to those who believe in Him the bouncing ball kind of life while you are here on earth, He is telling you that “All things are possible for the one who believes.” (Mark 9:23 [ESV2011]) including being carried in the air by the Holy Spirit from one city to another to preach the gospel without having to go through walking up and down the hills and the valleys. “Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture he told him the good news about Jesus. And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?” And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing. But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he preached the gospel to all the towns until he came to Caesarea” (Acts 8:35-40 [ESV2011]).

Jesus Can go Through a Brick Wall to Come to Your Midst

Jesus is so eager to give you His breath (His Holy Spirit) that He can do the unthinkable, what no man has ever done since the creation of the world so that those who believe in Him can also do the unthinkable: He went through a brick wall to come to the midst of His disciples who had locked themselves inside a house. “Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. And when he had so said, he showed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.” (John 20:19-20 [KJV]) He is capable of going through brickwalls and barriers to come to you to reveal Himself to you right now. Glory be to God.

These Signs Shall Follow them that Believe; In my Name they shall Cast out Devils

When Jesus was sending His disciples into the world to preach the gospel of the kingdom of heaven he told them to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” (Mark 16:15-20 [KJV])

God wants us to get Dominion or Rulership Kind of Life if we Believe in His Son Jesus

God wants us to get that kind of life that He calls His Kingdom or the Kingdom of heaven brought down to us by Jesus Christ. God wants us to get that kind of life where the power of God will be breathed into our bodies to enable us bounce off diseases, storms, shame, frustration, temptations, poverty, accidents, demons and all manner of evil. A life of power of God working in us to enable us destroy all works of the devil in Jesus’ name.

If Only we Know and Believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Anointed One, Greater Miracles Shall We Do

If we come to the knowledge and belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One as Peter did in Matthew 16:16, He shall give us power to cast out demons, heal the sick and destroying every yoke of the devil because He shall have anoint us with His anointing to enable us destroy every yoke that the devil will have put around our necks or around other peoples’ necks. “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden (i.e. the devil’s burden) shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing” (Isaiah 10:27) [KJV].

Most Christians today know very little about the anointing because when the Bible was translated into English, the translators failed to translate the Greek word Christ. And because of that failure instigated by the devil, a major revelation has been hidden from the Church. People began to use the word Christ as a title. Some even used it as if it was Jesus’ last name. But it is not. The word Christ is a Greek word Christos that is a translation of the Hebrew word Messiah. Translated into English, it means anointed or the Anointed One. It also refers to His anointing.

What is Anointing?

The anointing is God’s presence. His essence. It is the thing that makes God be God. The anointing is God on flesh enabling flesh to do those things that are impossible for flesh to do. For instance, flesh cannot heal anyone. Even Jesus’ flesh could not heal anyone because it came from Mary. It was as human as hers. He had to wait until He was anointed with the Holy Spirit for Him to start doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. The word anointed actually means to pour on, smear all over or to rub into. Peter preaching Christ (the Anointed One or His Anointing) to a Gentile who had not heard of Jesus preached “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” (Acts 10:38 [KJV]) So Peter preached Christ, that means he preached the anointing, telling them that Jesus of Nazareth had ‘God had poured on, smeared all over and rubbed into Him.’

The Anointing of God Can Be In You if You Accept Christ to Be in You

If you accept Christ in your life, He will Come and Abide in You as the Holy Spirit so that you can testify that Christ is in You (Col 1:27). Christ in you means the Anointed One abiding in you. “But the anointing which you have received of him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, you shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.” (1John 2:27-28 [KJV]) And Jesus after overcoming temptations of the devil returned in the power of the Holy Spirit into Galilee confessed that “The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor” Luke 4:14 [KJV]. He was telling them from the book of Isaiah that He had come with the yoke-destroying, burden removing power of the Almighty God all over Him. His perfect, sinless flesh speaking the words of a perfect sinless God caused the Almighty God’s anointing to be poured upon Him without measure. When you are covered by the Holy Spirit, no demon can touch you. You are immunized against powers of the devil. “Because thou hast made the LORD, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling” (Psalm 91:9-10 World English Bible).

Amen.

[1] The term ‘Bouncing ball life’ was coined by Felix Ngunjiri Gichuri, the author of Bouncing Ball Life book that was published in 2013 by Asaph Office Publications. The message that runs throughout the book reveals God’s plan for humanity: that we were created by God to worship Him after repenting and forsaking sin so that He can help us re-live the bouncing ball kind of life that Adam and Eve were living before they sinned in the garden of Eden.
